These terms govern your use of TrackStarlink at https://www.trackstarlink.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What this site is

TrackStarlink is an independent, free-to-use website that visualises the SpaceX Starlink satellite constellation using publicly available orbital data. It provides live position tracking, visible-pass forecasts, coverage views, launch history, constellation statistics and explanatory guides.

It is an informational and educational resource. It is not a navigation aid, not a safety system, and not an operational tool for spaceflight, aviation, maritime or any other activity where an error could cause harm.

2. No affiliation with SpaceX

TrackStarlinkis not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) or the Starlink service. “Starlink” and “SpaceX” are trademarks of their respective owner and are used here descriptively to identify the constellation being tracked.

We cannot assist with Starlink accounts, orders, billing, hardware, installation or service availability. See the contact page for what we can and cannot help with.

3. Data sources and accuracy

Orbital elements are obtained from public sources, principally CelesTrak, and are propagated using the SGP4 model. Launch information is obtained from public launch databases. All of it is provided “as is”.

Please understand the following about the data:

• Positions are computed predictions, not measurements. Nothing on this site reports a satellite's actual observed location
• Accuracy degrades as orbital elements age, and any thruster manoeuvre invalidates elements published before it. The guide on how satellite tracking works explains these limits in detail
• Pass forecasts depend on modelled illumination and geometry, and do not account for local weather, terrain, obstructions or light pollution
• Upstream sources may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect, and we have no ability to verify them independently
• Launch dates routinely change, and scheduled missions listed here may be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled without the site reflecting it immediately

Do not rely on this site for any decision where inaccuracy would cause loss, injury or damage.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated systems to scrape or retrieve content at a rate that places an unreasonable load on the site
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers or its infrastructure
• Interfere with the site's operation, security or availability
• Republish substantial portions of the site's written content as your own
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

The underlying orbital data is public and we claim no ownership of it. You are free to obtain it from its original sources.

5. Intellectual property

The written guides, page copy, design and code of this site are the property of its operator. Public orbital and launch data, and any third-party trademarks referenced, remain the property of their respective owners.

Short quotations with attribution and a link are welcome. Wholesale reproduction is not — see the contact page if you want to use something more substantial.

6. Advertising and third-party links

This site is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are served by third parties and their content is not selected, reviewed or endorsed by us. See the privacy policy for how advertising cookies are handled and how to opt out of personalised advertising.

The site links to external websites. We are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or privacy practices.

7. Availability

The site is provided without any guarantee of availability. It may be unavailable, incomplete or degraded at any time — including because an upstream data source is unreachable — and may be modified or discontinued without notice.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of this site is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for any loss of data, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the site, or from reliance on any information it provides.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
